Rhonda Cozzarin
Rhonda values education and promotes computer training whenever possible. At one time, she was a nurse who worked with the elderly, new mothers and newborns. Later, she returned to school to earn a BA from the University of Waterloo, then took on the challenge of IT – the most rewarding career that she could have ever imagined. She launched HelpMePC in 2008, in response to a need for uncomplicated computer training and support. Rhonda worked in the Kitchener-Waterloo region as an IT professional for several years. She was employed at a high-tech Waterloo company as a computer technician, troubleshooting software, and repairing PC’s, then joined a large Retirement & Nursing home corporation, where she worked as a Help Desk Analyst providing on-line computer support and training to over 5000 computer users in Canada and the USA. In addition to providing computer software support, Rhonda provides business application software training to business in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. HelpMePC was featured in Snap KW in December 2009, then later as a new business venture in The Record in September 2010. Rhonda was nominated for Power of Women Exchange, Helping Hand Award in 2010. Most recently, Rhonda was honored by her nomination for the Outstanding Consulting Award, at the Bridges to Better Business Forum, hosted by the Guelph-Wellington Business Enterprise Centre, October 2010. At the Bridges to Better Business Forum, Rhonda lent her expertise to mentor peers in Client Record Management and Databases – or CRM (Customer Relations Management).
Recently, Rhonda has been contracted by the Canadian Automotive & Trucking Institute, to provide the 6 week Computer Basic & Business Communication Program. This full-time commitment runs intermittently during the year, and will be posted to the HelpMePC calendar. The Computer Basic & Business Communication Program teaches beginner skills in Windows XP, Internet and Email, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Business Communication skills including a review in Mathematics and English. Participants earn the Computer Basic & Business Communication Certificate at completion of this 6 week course.
