Rhonda Cozzarin is really an alternative to the Geek

Rhonda values education and promotes computer training whenever possible. She has been a nurse who worked with the elderly, new mothers and newborns. As an adult she returned to school to earn a BA from the University of Waterloo, then took on the challenge of IT – the most rewarding career that she could have ever imagined. She launched HelpMePC in 2008, in response to a need for uncomplicated computer training and support.

Rhonda worked in the Kitchener-Waterloo region as an IT professional for several years. She was employed at a high-tech Waterloo company as a computer technician, troubleshooting software, and repairing PC’s, then changed directions slightly, to join a large Retirement & Nursing home corporation, where she worked as a Help Desk Analyst providing on-line computer support and training to over 5000 computer users in Canada and the USA.

In addition to providing computer software support, Rhonda has launched computer skills training workshops in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Workshops are targeted at business individuals with a different topic planned every week.  Watch for further information coming soon on workshops offered at Guelph-Wellington Business Enterprise Centre, and the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre in Fall 2010.

Rhonda is an active member of The Power of Women Exchange, a professional women’s networking organization with chapters all over Ontario and now in Alberta.  Nominated for Helping Hand award by KW POWE.  Recently, Rhonda was contracted as the POWE Website Content Manager.
